The Rock Small Groups are a great way to meet new people and get to know them on a more personal level. They meet in various homes and apartments throughout the city on Sunday evenings and engage both the spiritual and relational aspect of our lives. Small Groups meet from September through May, but you can join a group at any time. You can either sign-up for a group at the Welcome Table or contact our small group director.
House churches build on the foundation of community set forth by small groups. Three or four groups are associated with each location. The best way to get involved in house church is to join a small group. If you are unable to join a small group, we'd love to have you at house church. There are currently six locations throughout the Twin Cities. They meet on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Contact the leaders of a house church for more information. Children are welcome at house church, though childcare is not provided.
Ever Island is focused on serving homeless/disadvantaged teens, young adults and single mothers. Our mission is to love, act out our faith, and provide for the physical and spiritual needs of the orphans and widows in the Twin Cities. Led by Jeromy Darling 952-484-1188 and Dirk Spitznagle 612-280-1545.

Many couples never learn what makes a marriage successful before they get married. That’s why The Rock offers the pre-marriage seminar, “Fit to Be Tied.” (We also recommend this seminar to any couple married for 5 years or less that has had little or no pre-marriage training.)
The format for each meeting includes a message (often taught by a husband/wife team) followed by smaller group discussions. Weekly projects are assigned for the couples to complete outside of the class. Attendance at this seminar is required for couples who desire to get married by a Rock, Urban Refuge or Evergreen pastor. For upcoming seminar dates, check our Announcements. This 10-week seminar is typically held on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM at the Evergreen-Bloomington location. And is usually offered in the fall and spring of each year, beginning in mid-September and late-February.
